Picnic News – Local 477 annual Picnic. September 6, 2014. Yucaipa Regional Park.

Volunteers are needed and greatly appreciated , Please contact Dino Martinez at (909) 708-7866 or the Hall at (909) 890-0607 and sign up on the volunteer list.

The Journeyman / Apprentice Baseball game is being formed right now. Please contact Richard Thomas at (909) 635-8851 to get more information about sign-ups.

There will be a Salsa contest. Please bring a small sample for the Judge and a dish for our salsa bar. Also please bring your favorite dessert for our dessert table.

The Horseshoe contest will be held on the day of the picnic at the picnic site. Sign-ups will be at 10:00am sharp (please be prompt so we can start early.). Larry Abel will be in charge of the Horseshoe sign-ups.

We will have our great raffle, Ice cream, plenty of food, music and picnic fun.

LONG CALLS – 3 Journeyman Wireman for Inabensa at the Lone Valley Solar Project in Lucerne Valley. Report Wednesday, July 2, 7:00am. Drug Test, 2 forms of Valid ID.

LONG CALLS – 2 Journeyman Wireman Cable Splicers for High Light Electric at the Mohave Abengoa Solar Project in Hinkley. Report Wednesday, July 2, 6:30am. Orientation. Drug Test, Steel Toe Boots, 2 forms of Valid ID.

Dispatch Results. 7-1-14. 3 Inabensa calls filled by book 1. 2 instrumentation calls open. 2 Cable Splicer calls delayed by contractor till next week.

There are 64 Wireman on book 1 and 490 Wireman on book 2. Next short call starts at 26. High Desert dispatch will be open.

Picnic News - September 6, 2014, Yucaipa Regional Park. 10:00am to 3:00pm. Looks like we have managers for the Journeyman and Apprentice Baseball game. I will get you contact information ASAP. We also have a Horseshoe Manager. Sign ups for the horseshoe tournament will be at 10:00am sharp, the day of the picnic. Don't forget the Salsa contest, Please bring a salsa sample for the judge and a bowl for the members to try. Also please bring a desert for our desert table.
